 Deirdre Cryor arrived in July as the new Head of School at Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Bryn Mawr.   “It’s so special that I’ve returned to a school and an area that is really home for me,” said Miss Cryor.  “Additionally, it’s been even more exciting to be back in the Sacred Heart Network during the Olympics with nine Sacred Heart alumnae to cheer for. Katie Ledecky from my alma mater is particularly amazing!”

John O'Leary, national bestselling author and speaker, addressed almost 600 high school students from Villa Duchesne and Saint Louis Priory. John, a St. Louis native, was expected to die in 1987, at the age of 9, following a fire that burned 100 percent of his body. Now, he is traveling the world to teach others how to truly live. Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School was able to host the inspirational speakerbecause of the generosity of the Brnjac and Brannan Families.

The Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart community gathered to celebrate its multicultural makeup during the annual Flag Ceremony and Liturgy of the Holy Spirit Friday, Sept. 9, at the all-girls college-prep high school in Lake Forest.
