Grand Coteau, La., (December 2016) – Thursday, December 15 Schools of the Sacred Heart Head of School, Dr. Yvonne Adler, Ph.D. along with members of the board, baseball team and Sacred Heart community were on hand to break ground on a new baseball field at the school.
With only about 5% of the funds left to raise, the school has decided to break ground and get moving on this project. This should allow Berchmans Baseball and Academy Softball to have all of their home games on their own field for the 2017 season!
And the field will have the versatility to be used for both high school and prep teams.

Members of the Berchmans Academy baseball team were on hand and 3 members of the team were the ones to actually turn the first shovels of dirt.
