On behalf of the Network Board, I am delighted to announce the appointment of Bill Hobbs as Director of Program Planning for the Network of Sacred Heart Schools.  After obtaining extensive constituent input and conducting a thorough national search, Bill was unanimously approved by your Network Board for this appointment.

Bill brings extensive educational and program experience to this role in addition to a passion for the Sacred Heart.  Bill has an EdD in Spirituality and Leadership, a Masters degree in Adolescent Development and a Bachelors degree in Philosophy and Theology.  He has been a middle school teacher, college counselor, middle school director and a head of school.  Most recently, he has spent the last seven years as Director of Research and Leadership Development for the Jesuit Schools Network.  This role involves working with constituent groups of Jesuit schools to develop, deliver and evaluate programs that serve the mission of the schools.   Bill’s passion for the Sacred Heart developed during his time as head of the middle school at Regis School of the Sacred Heart in Houston where he also taught social studies and Spanish.  During his time with us, Bill served as a SHCOG Commission member and on SHCOG visiting committees.

The search committee was very impressed with Bill’s experience, spirituality, passion and communications skills.  We look forward to working with Bill in the development of plans and programs that will ensure that we exceed your expectations.

Bill will complete the academic year with the Jesuit Network and join us on July 1, 2017.

Please join me in congratulating and welcoming Bill Hobbs as our new Director of Program Planning.

Sincerely,

Nat Wilburn
