Now in its second century, Schools of the Sacred Heart San Francisco (also known as Convent & Stuart Hall) is among the oldest and largest independent schools in California and the only Northern California institution to offer single‐sex classroom education within a coeducational community.
Serving more than 1,000 students in grades K‐ 12 within four single‐sex schools on two campuses, Schools of the Sacred Heart San Francisco shares a commitment to the Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart education with the other Network of Sacred Heart Schools.
While the core curriculum of each of the schools is single‐sex, the familial relationship among the schools ensures that students have myriad opportunities, K‐12, for coeducational experiences through the arts, service projects, social events, student leadership activities, and selected high school language and AP courses.
