Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart is a Catholic, independent Pre-K - 12, all girl school. It is a member of the Network of Sacred Heart Schools and as such is committed to educate students to:

Duchesne Academy offers a college-preparatory curriculum, which draws on the natural curiosity and ability of students to help them experience a love of learning. We focus on the whole child - intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social, and physical. Our goals and curriculum are strongly rooted in the Catholic doctrine; however our student population includes girls from many nationalities and religious denominations. This diversity adds a rich dimension to our learning environment.

Since its founding in 1960 Duchesne Academy has built a reputation as one of Houston's strongest independent Catholic schools through its well-articulated Goals and Criteria, demanding academics, innovative laptop program, and a variety of extracurricular activities.
