Convent of the Sacred Heart is an independent, Catholic day school for girls from preschool through grade 12 located on a beautiful 110-acre campus in Greenwich, Connecticut. The student body of 770 girls includes a diversity of ethnic, socioeconomic and religious backgrounds. An international exchange program gives sophomores an opportunity to visit Sacred Heart schools throughout the world.
The school’s facilities include modern classrooms with the latest in technology for learning, including science laboratories, an outdoor observatory, a library/media center, and computer labs. A computer laptop program is in use for grades 7-12. There is a studio for the award-winning broadcast journalism program that offers students of all ages an opportunity to create news shows, documentaries and special programs.
Sacred Heart provides a full schedule of varsity and junior varsity sports and its facilities include synthetic turf fields, an indoor pool, and tennis courts, cross country course, gymnasium for volleyball and basketball, and fields for playing soccer, lacrosse, softball and field hockey. Crew, golf, and squash round out the sports.
Now in its 163rd school year, Sacred Heart has an enrollment of 205 in the Lower School, 280 in the Middle School and 285 in the Upper School.
