The Academy of the Sacred Heart is an independent, private, Catholic elementary school located in St. Charles, Missouri. Founded in 1818 by St. Rose Philippine Duchesne, a member of the Society of the Sacred Heart in France, the Academy was the first of many Sacred Heart schools to be established in the United States.

The first Catholic grade school in St. Charles County, the Academy has been recognized for several consecutive years by the St. Louis Business Journal as the largest private elementary school in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Pre-K through sixth grade classes are coed; seventh and eighth grade classes are divided by gender.

Students at the Academy flourish in an atmosphere of challenge and growth, an excellent foundation for the future. Ninety-nine percent of graduates gain admission to high schools of their first choice.
