On Friday, January 27, Campus Ministry at Woodlands Academy sponsored “Let There Be Peace On Earth,” an Interfaith Prayer Service celebrating the diverse faith traditions in the Sacred Heart Family. A Lutheran minister, A Hebrew Torah scholar, a protestant pastor, a Catholic priest, and an Episcopal associate rector offered readings from Scripture and personal reflections on world peace. Choral and instrumental music as well as silent reflection time punctuated this powerful prayer experience which demonstrated so profoundly that, although many, we are truly one family seeking truth, justice, and peace.
