Stuart Hall graduate Marco Lancieri ’11 returned to establish the Cor Unum Service Grant in honor of his Godmother, Suzanne Estupinian, who passed way in December 2011.  During his four years at Stuart Hall, Marco participated in two of the immersion service experiences to New Orleans and two to Mexico.  These experience profoundly shaped his view of himself and world.  They offered the opportunity to grow “in a social awareness that impels to action” as stated in Goal Three of a Sacred Heart education.

Marco wanted other students to share in his experiences and so stepped forward to make it happen.  Therefore, the Cor Unum Service Grant is established for the purpose of funding a current Stuart Hall High School student or students for the service immersion experiences wherever they may be.  This need-based grant may be used to offset the partial cost up to $500.00 and limited up to two students per experience.   This grant should be made available to those students who best exemplify the Goals & Criteria of a Sacred Heart Education.

Marco  provided the initial funding of $5,000.00 on Friday, January 6, 2012.   Additional contributions to this grant are welcome and donations may be made on the Service Page of Stuart Hall and the Convent of the Sacred Heart High School.
